My research deals with the intraspecific evolution of thermal adaptations across a large latitudinal gradient in the copepod Acartia tonsa. We are primarily interested in how various environmental and climatic factors affect the evolution of these adaptive traits, and how gene flow affects this process. We approach these research topics with a combination of laboratory performance experiments and genomic sequencing.
